Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Stuart, Florida
Serving Martin County since April 1, 1938

The Kiwanis Club of Stuart (KCOS) was formed on April 1, 1938 and through its members and Foundation (the Kiwanis Club of Stuart, Florida, Foundation, Inc.) has since continuously provided much needed service to the residents of Martin County.

Some of our major projects over the years include the Martin County pool located at Martin County High School; Kiwanis Park at Woodlawn located in Stuart near Confusion Corner; the Courthouse gazebo; an annual clothes shopping trip for appoximately 70 underprivileged children; start up funding for the Martin County YMCA and Lyric Theatre; a shelter at the YMCA; sponsorships of youth organizations in many of the MC elementary, middle and high schools; the Adopt-A-Class program; years of assistance with Special Olympics; scholarships; and financial assistance to many organizations including the Boy Scouts, the ARC of Martin County, and Helping People Succeed.    The club also provides many other smaller service projects to the community each year.

Our Foundation holds 3 annual fundraisers to raise funds to support our many projects:  the Historical Ornaments of Martin County; the College Football Preview; and a Sporting Clay Tournament.   Details of each of the fundraisers may be found on the menu tab "Projects - Fundraising" on the left side of this page.

Some of our recent service and fundraising projects are highlighted below.  The news articles on the right side of this page shows some of the past media coverage for our service and fundraising activities.  More detail for many of our activities can be found under the menu tabs listed on the left side of this page including photos of many of our events under the menu tab "Photos."

We are always looking for new members who have an interest in serving their community. If interested, join us for a lunch meeting as our guest.  We meet on Tuesday's from 12:15 to 1:15 at Manero's Restaurant in Palm City.  Also, membership information may be found under the "Membership" menu tab on the left side of this page.

Donations to our Foundation and certain of our fundraising items may be purchased on this website under the menu tab "Store - Donation Center."

Thanks for visiting the website of the Kiwanis Club of Stuart, Florida and the Kiwanis Club of Stuart, Florida Foundation, Inc.

On Saturday, December 14, 2013, members of the Kiwanis Club of Stuart with help from many members of our sponsored Key Clubs took approximately 70 children clothes shopping at Bealls on Cove Road in Stuart.   Each child received a full set of clothing.  Many thanks to those who contributed to this project during the year, especially those who contributed to the "Fund A Need" request at the Football Preview auction event.  One family of children brought Santa a special letter of thanks --
